Norway’s Best Mentor Scheme
The Polytechnic Association’s Innovation Network is preparing for its 3rd annual mentor scheme. Its primary aim is to support and encourage young professionals to find their way, voice and confidence as they embark on their careers within the industry. It’s been recognised as Norway’s best mentor scheme and I am very proud to be part of it for the 2nd consecutive year as a mentor.
Developing Our Future Talent
Welcoming and encouraging the younger generations is very important to me, so being a mentor through the Innovation Network gives me the perfect opportunity to share my insight, experience and professional network and make a difference to the industry and its future. I have myself had the privilege of regular meetings with a mentor throughout my career, and the advice and discussions have had a huge impact on my own business performance. As a Polytechnic Association mentor, I have met and supported two fantastic, enthusiastic and talented young professionals, and I know they have what it takes to go far… How exciting!
The Polytechnic Association are currently accepting applications from young professionals across the country with less than 5 years’ working experience. The new cohort is set to be matched with an experienced and suitable mentor in March 2016 for a year of regular progress meetings.
